Megadap has the broader maintained compat list and faster firmware cadence; Techart costs slightly less. For Sony G / GM glass on Z6 II / Z7 II both work well; for Z8 / Z9 subject-detect tracking Megadap currently leads.
Does Eye-AF work on the Z9 through the TZE-01?
Yes — added in v2.0 firmware; v3.0 added animal subject detection. Single-point and wide-area both track on Z9 / Z8.
What's the firmware update flow?
