- Slower AF and a shorter certified-lens list, but ~one-quarter the price. Best suited to static-subject work with EF lenses on a budget Sony body.

- Yes — initial AF targeted the a7 III / a9, and v2.10 firmware added Eye-AF stability for the a7 IV and a1.
